Maintenance Guide

Crafted with great care using materials selected for their quality, Rue Bisquit garments and accessories are designed to last over time.
To preserve their beauty, special attention is required.
Discover our tips and precautions on how to care for them and continue wearing them, season after season.

Before washing a garment, we invite you to consult the instructions on the label.
If the label indicates "do not wash," we recommend entrusting the garment to a professional for dry cleaning.

SILK

Silk twill or crépe de chine are natural and precious materials that require special attention. They must be dry cleaned or hand washed with the utmost care.

DRY CLEANING RECOMMENDED:
To preserve the garment over time, we recommend entrusting it to experts who can preserve its beauty.

WASHING:
Hand wash at a maximum temperature of 30°. We recommend not soaking the garment.

SPIN:
Manual and light; it can be done inside a towel to absorb water.

DRYING:
It is preferable to air dry the garment on a hanger. Once dry, the garment will naturally appear stiffer and drier.

IRONING AND STEAMING:
The fiber expands thanks to the moisture from ironing and especially steaming. The fabric will regain its fullness, softness, and elasticity.

VISCOSE

Viscose is an artificial fiber, particularly sensitive to water. To prevent your garment from shrinking during washing, it is essential to follow these recommendations:

WASHING:
Hand wash in cold water, do not soak. Once wet, the fiber naturally shrinks and hardens.

SPIN:
Manual and light; it can be done inside a towel to absorb water.

DRYING:
It is preferable to air dry the garment on a hanger. Once dry, the garment may appear shrunken and very stiff.

IRONING AND STEAMING:
These are essential to restore fullness, softness, and elasticity to the fiber.
